The East End

This view of the East end of the Church from the Gallery shows clearly the 14th Century window which dominates the sanctuary, the oak panelling which was installed in memory of John Erskine's Clarke's 37 years as vicar, the choir stalls and chancel.

The sanctuary railing and altar are 18th Century originals.  The original box pews were replaced with more accessible pews earlier this century.  It is said by some that the Church was originally painted a deep chocolate brown.  There are many who are grateful that it is so no longer.
