Here is a grinding trough or trow where the grinder sat grinding a sharp edge on cutting tools ie, scythes, sickles etc. Beneath the grinding wheel was water which kept the dust down when grinding.This trow was really difficult to make as I had to bend the balsa it is made from, the grinding wheel is peeled wine cork!
