Sylvanian Christmas story!

Today is Christmas eve in Sylvania.
Mum and Dad Hazel Hedgehog are busy moving into a big house as they need the extra space now they
have more Children, Dad and Mum Raccoon are helping the Hazel hedgehogs to move and Freye the good witch
is looking after all the children.
As you can see the house is empty with just the carpets down.

All the grownups are busy helping Mr and Mrs Hazel Hedgehog to move
The Children get their scarves and cosy earmuffs and put them on , then they
sit by the magic Christmas tree and sing Christmas carols and songs.
The magic tree is very happy and it starts to glow brightly it has made the Children happy too.

Freye tells the children to sit comfortably and she will tell them all about Santa.
"Santa" is a very kind man who works hard all year making toys for children and at Christmas
he gives them to children who have been good and kind to others.
"We have been helping Mum and Dad to pack all our things and get ready to move". Said Maxie Hazel
"We have been looking after our little brother and sister too." Said Poppy Hazel.
"yes, I am sure Santa will know you have been good and kind." Said Freye.
"I help my Mum wash the dishes and tidy up." Said Shelby Raccoon.
I help my dad look after Twigs the horse and feed him." said Charlie Raccoon.
"Yes you are both good and kind too and I am Sure Santa know that!" Said Freye..

Maxie said , "You have been good and kind too Freye because you make us all well when we are
ill and you look after Ambrose and the Colley twins!So I am sure Santa will bring you a present too!"
Freye smiled and said, "Lets go and see Santa!"

The children are very excited to see santa and his grotto. Santa has packed his sleigh
ready to take all the gifts to good Sylvanian children.
Santa says hello to the children and they all call back........HELLO SANTA!
At the back of the grotto is a very shy Unicorn. Maxie Hazel asks
who the beautiful Unicorn is.
Santa tells the children the unicorn is called "Stardust" and he is very shy!
Santa said, " I am sure he will come and say hello soon!"

Santa asks Poppy and Maxie what they would like for Christmas.
Maxie and Poppy whisper to Santa what they would like for Christmas, sweets for babies and
something nice for Freye!

Santa asks Shelby and Charlie what they would like for Christmas.
Charlie and Shelby whisper to santa what they would like for Christmas
and something nice for Freye!

Santa looked at Freye and said. Now, what would you like Freye?
I know you have a secret wish don't you and I know your wish involves all the sylvanians doesn't it ?
Freye looked surprised and said, "Santa,I would love a little house where I can live upstairs and
care for Ambrose, the colley twins, and downstairs would be a shop with all my many Sylvanian herbs
and potions that I have made to make any sick and poorly Sylvanians better and healthy and vegetable
drinks to keep them healthy."
Santa said," You have always been a good witch and you deserve a little house and shop for
your wonderful kindness to all Sylvanians!
You will get your house and you will move in late spring!"
"Thank you so much Santa, I shall also start making more potions ready for when we move in!"
Said Freye.

Santa said ,"Meet Stardust the Unicorn. Stardust helps me with my sleigh and flies me
over all Sylvania delivering gifts in one night!"

Santa told the children Stardust trusts them because he is coming closer
I have something to ask you Freye.............when your house is finished,
will you look after Stardust for me until I need him next winter?
Freye was overjoyed and so excited. She kissed Santa and said,
"I would love to take care of Stardust for you!"
"Stardust is beautiful Said the children."over all Sylvania delivering gifts in one night!"
Freye tells the children it is time to say goodbye to Santa and
go home.over all Sylvania delivering gifts in one night!"
The children and Freye thank Santa and wish him a Merry Christmas and say good bye!
"Goodbye children." said Santa.

Outside The hazels new home. "Hello Freye and Children!" called Mum hazel.
"We have moved all our belongings and furniture here so this is where we will
all now live! You have sleeping bags to sleep in upstairs and Santa comes tonight.
Freye there is plenty of room and beds for you , Ambrose, and the twins to stay
over Christmas too!"
"Thank you Mrs Hazel, you are so kind! We would love to stay!" Said Freye.

The children tell their mum and dad about seeing Santa and Stardust.
"Oh Mum the Christmas tree looks beautiful!"
Our new home looks beautiful too!
Now all of you sit and eat your suppers and some cake to finish off with. It is bedtime!
"We must go to our caravan now, see you all tomorrow!" Said Charlie and Shelby.
"Good Bye, see you tomorrow!" answered everyone!

Everyone is in their beds and sleeping bags and fast asleep!
I can hear Santa. Can you?

Santa is downstairs leaving lovely gifts and sweets for all!

Santa leaves gifts for the Raccoon children and some oats for Twigs.....

Santa and Stardust have finished delivering all the gifts to Sylvania.
Now we can go home and rest santa says to Stardust!
The children are all in bed and fast asleep .............
