Some of my hand-made miniature food
which you may like to try making yourself.

Synthetic wine corks are useful in so many ways! You will need a sharp knife to cut it
so be careful! Here is a full round of cheese with a portion removed..... it didn't
even need painting! Shown with a little home-made cheese knife.

Seed cake..... I used a thick slice of wine cork, then painted
it with acrylic paint, then decorated it with wild bird seed.

Fruit cake..... wine cork again but with dots of acrylic paint for the fruit and
topped with "cherries" (red beads). Shown with a tankard of ale made from an
electrical capacitor with blobs of white paint for the "froth" and twisted wire for the handle.

A platter of fancies..... the shapes of "bread" are wine cork. The "lettuce" is paper painted
green (yuk!) and the ham is paper painted pink. The tomatoes are wild bird seed painted red.

A plate of sandwiches..... slice the wine cork thinly, paint on
the crust, then make the filling out of anything you want!

A plate of fancy buns and cakes..... I used synthetic
wine cork again and painted them up as you can see.

Wine cork gateau.

Pork pie.
