Painting and decorating the outside of Rosa-su
and Scrappy's caravan!



Here is the first coat of maroon paint to the outside of the caravan
The wheels have been replaced by a soap powder box during painting! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~



Here is the rear of the caravan showing, the boot flap
made with balsa and will be painted yellow
The wheels will also be painted maroon.

After the second coat of paint, the gold decoration is stamped on
I shall be doing more decorative patterns but I am applying the gold first.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~



Window shutters in place, boot flap leaning against the caravan for you to see
, decorated and more gold patterns applied!! Still lots to do!

Now the wheels and axles are decorated and fitted! Things are going together nicely!

The boot flap is adjusted as needed with the chains.

I have fitted a brass rail and stanchions at each side of my Vardo to hang items from!

I have fitted a little carpet and Maxie is checking it out!

I have started to make a 4 part stable door. The top 2 parts are complete.
Now the lower part needs cutting in half vertically.

All the door is cut and panels are added to the lower 2 part door.

Painted yellow and ready to put the little windows in.
Next decorate the door to match the window shutters!
