Building the lit stove, using balsa

The fire apperture is cut out a warming shelf is added
Here is a little idea that can be used in many ways:
Glue some lace on and use it to fancy-up a plain miniature as decoration!

After sizing with 50/50 PVA and water, it is painted.

A very light touch with silver acrylic on the "cast iron" (lace) decoration and it stands out nicely!
My lit insert is fitted in and lit........... Now we are cooking!

After designing some Art Nouveau tiles for my stove and a hearth,
I printed the out and tried them in the caravan.
