12th scale Gypsy Caravan
First of all, some shots of my caravan.

Then.................A pictoral diary of the makever!!
Here it is! A first look at the caravan. It is about the same size as the one
I have just finished but has a bit more space inside.
I have already named the occupier of this caravan 'Gypsy Elise Bluebell',
'Elise' is the name of Elayne's grand Daughter, she will have lots of little pets
along with a little dog and a lady Shire horse called 'Blossom'(kindly sugested by Su).
Elise will be the nighbour and best friend of Rosa-Su,Scrappy and Leo who
live in my other caravan and there will be stories of the adventures
and fun they have together!

After removing the roof, the inside is revealed! This caravan doesn't have a ledge ,
or un-removeable furniture so I will have more scope and room furnishing
and decorating the inside. A this stage I don't have any ideas of colours or furniture,
but that will come with lots of staring , plotting and planning!

Introducing Gypsy Elise Bluebell.

I have named her after Elayne's (who gave me this caravan) Grand Daughter, Elise! I have dressed Gypsy Elise in thin cotton, lace and taffeta and she is wearing a powdered silk
head scarf tied with ribbon! Do you like he Elise?

Here is the inside of the caravan painted a brighter colour
Now I can see what I and Elise are doing! You can see Elise, having a look round .
I have squared the window openings up and in future shall make some window frames.
The inside when done will be pale blue, with dark blue beams and flowers painted
on them the soft furnishings will be mainly shades of blue
Now to think about what comes next!

I am still working on both these 2 items and will show them at different stages.

I shall be adding handles and hinges! and maybe a chimney!
The surround will most likely be painted deep blue.

Introducing.... Fifi the little white Poodle.

Here is Fifi the lovely white Poodle. Nanna Val made her and sent her to me
to live with Rosa-Su and Elise and Scrappy!

Introducing.... Tiny the Yorkshire Terrier puppy.

Here is Tiny the Tea-cup Yorkshire Terrier puppy. Elayne sent her to me
to live with Elise ,Rosa-Su and Fifi and Scrappy! This picture also shows the tea cup,
saucer and plate with a picture of Tiny on each!

Here is Tiny the Tea-cup Yorkshire Terrier puppy. The tea set,
Tiny's Gypsy caravan blanket and pixie and Dixie the kittens
drinking milk from the milk pail they have knocked over!
All are gifts from Elayne! I am sure they will all enjoy the Gypsy life!!

The outside body of my caravan is now midnight blue and ready for
decorating with painted flowers etc.
The under frame will also most likely be blue with yellow and white hi-lights.

Inside is now a pale blue, the stove surround is midnight blue to match the outside.
I shall design some tiles for the recess.The shelf above will be midnight blue too!
Santa and his elves have been helping me with this and I am hoping Gypsy will be surprised
when she sees it!

A beautiful barge ware bucket with roses painted on it for Leo to drink from,
A gorgeous brass storm lamp,perfect for the long nights!
A cute brass indoor lamp,
A gypsy girl story book,
And a lovely milk churn for me to paint up!!

Here is my finished stove and surround all done and tiled with co-ordinating tiles!
On the upper shelf is a rail to stop things from dropping off it
when the caravan is on the move.
I shall connect the wire when I decide how many lights I am having!

Introducing Foxy Lady and big hugs to Val!

The story behind this lovely Lady Fox
Nanna Val found Foxy Lady when she was little fox cub she had been abandoned or
her Mother had died. Nanna Val took her home, hand fed her and kept her warm and safe
with a basket and a blanket as her bed .
She is nearly full grown now and is very tame, friendly and gentle with all pets and animals,
birds and humans.
Nanna Val gave her to me so she can live with my Gypsy girls and have
lovely adventures with them and their pets
Thank you so much Val for sending her to me!
She is lovely and is already playing
with Fifi Tiny and Scrappy. All friends together!!
