IMPORTS....ITS A GOOD IDEA TO....

Fit a petrol restrictor in the filler neck so that a leaded fuel pump will not fit.

Fit an FM expander to the radio - in Japan FM only goes to 100mHz. The readout will still be wrong, but will receive correctly.

Fit a new set of tyres - they will not be e-marked and could invalidate your insurance, and generally come fairly old and worn. The rubber will have hardened and possibly started to crack. Yokohama A520 seems a popular choice.

Fit a new battery, again the cars generally come with an old battery - it can take months for the car to get to the UK so it's normally very tired- best to fit a new one.
