Gambia - Tendaba
Tendaba can be reached by the river Gambia from Lamin or via the road on the South bank and is approximately 190 Km from Serekunda and the Kombos. Tendaba can also be reached by river - see the page on Lamin.
TENDABA CAMP is quite popular with many tourists and some tour operators offer a stay here as part of their itinerary. The camp has everything to meet your needs, food, drink and comfortable accommodation.
Boat trips along the river Gambia are available at Tendaba. A great place for bird watchers. Well worth a visit. To get there, take the bus or transport from Serekunda to Soma and ask the driver to drop you at Tendaba. From the road where you will be dropped off you have a short walk to the camp which is sign posted.
