Gambia - Flea Pits

TERANGA HOTEL: Located on Hill Street in Banjul this place is really a brothel with the first floor reserved for tourists. The rooms are dirty and the communal toilet / shower is disgusting. Nature lovers would be comfortable in this hotel as it houses some of the largest roaches in The Gambia. It also has a variety of spiders. Suprisingly, the girls, occupying the ground floor and the second floor and above, cause no disturbance to tourists.

FANTASIA HOTEL: On the road between Farafenni and the ferry South of the town. Cheap, but another brothel. Not very clean, and being 1Km from the center of town means a lot of walking as taxis don't pass by very often.
