We decided to set a page for two reasons:-

When I moved down to London I was looking for a church and thought that the best place to look would be the Internet - it wasn't.

It was through my minister in Oxford that I found out about Upper Tooting.

So when we were looking for ways to extend our outreach at Upper Tooting the Disciple Group decided that in case anyone else was looking for a church on the web we would set up a site.

For new Christians or people who are interested in Christianity
It isn't easy to just walk into a Church and feel at home - even if you have been a Christian all your life. If you want to know more about God and the life you can live if you have a personal relationship with Jesus you may not have anyone to talk to or know where to go to find out.

We hope that you will find out a bit about us and feel able to either come to the church or contact us about anything to do with the site or Upper Tooting Methodist Church.
