(1113) VDV113S along with VDV112S were the first Bristol VR's in the Midland Fox Fleet arriving in the winter of 1987 and came from Devon General who were getting rid of a lot of these vehicles at the time. They moved on again in 1993 to Crosville Cymru and 1113 is seen in Llandudno.

(1123) TPE153S is a Bristol VRT that was new to Alder Valley before coming to Midland Fox and being allocated with the rest of the type to Wigston. It was sold on again (with most of the others) to Crosville Cymru. Seen here in Bangor in July 1994.

(1127) YBW603R was new to South Midland before coming to Leicester with several others. Crosville Cymru later aquired it as part of a "job lot". Photographed in Caernarvon in July 1994.

(1149) UVT49X, a Bristol VR with ECW bodywork came to Midland Fox as one of a pair of coach seated examples new to Stevensons of Uttoxeter. It is understood to be the very final Bristol VR produced. It was operating for Crosville Cymru when Photographed in Aberystwyth in February 1993.

(2143) JIL2197 is a Leyland National Greenway that started life as BCD808L on the sunny south coast it then passed to Midland Fox via Kinch before being sent for a Greenway rebuild in 1994 which then saw it at work for London & Country for a few years before returning back to Fox County via Arriva Croydon & North Surrey in 1998. And is seen here in 2002 shortly after being sold to Norfolk company Neaves.



(3809) BVP809V was one of several Leyland National 2's that went to Colchester to replace newish Leyland Lynx's which were moved to Crosville Cymru.



(3810) BVP810V Spent time with Colchester and Southend after leaving Midland Fox.



(3812) BVP812V was another Lynx replacement at Colchester. (You can't help thinking that Colchester got the wrong end of this deal !)

(4488) ACM710X is a Leyland Olympian with ECW bodywork which started life with Merseybus before coming to Midland Fox with several others. It was sold to Cedrics of Wivenhoe, Essex (along with ACM705X) and is seen here in Colchester Bus Station on 26th July 1999.

(4522) G522WJF is a Leyland Olympian with Alexander bodywork and was part of the last batch bought new by Midland Fox and was based at Wigston for all of it's career. It moved up to Arriva North West with nine others as part of a swop with ex Liverline Scania N113 Deckers and is seen here in Bootle in May 1999.

(4533) G513SFT is a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympian that came from Kentish Bus with four others, They were all based at Wigston during their stay with Midland Fox and moved up to Arriva North West as part of the Scania swop. It is seen here in Bootle in May 1999.

(7051) Midland Fox Metroliner C51VJU spent most of it's life on the M1 between Leicester and London before being sold to London Pride (along with sister C52VJU), the well known sightseeing operator in the capital. It is now an open topper as seen here at Piccadilly Circus in January 1998.



(7051) C51VJU was one of five Metroliners used on the National Express 440 service (later joined by an ex Shamrock and Rambler example). They often suffered reliability troubles and were often replaced by coaches 3 & 4 on this work. They never strayed far from the M1 but on certain summer saturdays an example could be found on the X89 to Skegness.

(M29) B429 PJF is one of the numerous "Bread-Van" Ford Transit's bought by Midland Fox at the start of the minibus boom (This example being diverted from a Bristol Omnibus order). It is seen here a long way from home with Clyde Coast Motors in Largs, Ayrshire in May 1993.

(M175) C575 TUT is another Ford Transit bought by Midland Fox but was sold soon afterwards when the Swadlincote depot was sold to Stevensons of Uttoxeter with whom it spent most of it's time based at Lichfield. It was photographed here north of the border in Greenock in May 1993.
