(1) URH657 is seen earlier in its career wearing the extremely attractive Silver & Blue Foxhound livery parked up at "Home" South Wigston depot in November 1989. The ex-Southdown 'Queen Mary' used by the Leicester Mercury is seen behind.
(3) FIL3451 was one of a pair of Tigers delivered in January 1985 for National Express work that then moved on to touring then express work to Birmingham/Coventry/Stratford alongside 19-21. This vehicle was sold in 1996 but No.4 lasted until 2002.
(3004) FIL3452 Is seen here resting between National Express duties in London.
(4) FIL3452 started life as B104LJU and was one of a pair delivered new in January 1985 for use on National Express Work (see above). In the early 1990's it briefly moved on to Excursion work and then gained the Red version of the Foxhound livery and was used on Express services like the X66 to Birmingham as seen here.
(8) A108EPA was one of a pair of ex London commuter coaches aquired in 1989 and appart from the last year it spent all of its time allocated to Wigston for use on Express work though also found itself further affield from time to time, seen in this case parked at a strange angle in Bridlington.
(10) RIB3686 was originally registered ANA110Y and was aquired with sister vehicle ANA109Y from Speedlink in 1990 though they had not long arrived here from North Western. It worked for the Fairtax/Foxhound private hire fleet until withdrawal in 1995.
(10) RIB3686 was only in the fleet for five years though that was three years longer than ANA109Y ! By the time this photo was taken it had gained Foxhound Logo's on it's previously blank livery.
(13) A936MRW Came into the company with the fleet of Hills of Nuneaton which was taken over in 1991. It started life as one of a pair with Crosville Wales registered 429UFM with 46 reclining seats and a toilet. When it was sold it gained the registration A919LJC and whilst it was with Hills it became DJI1333 and traded its toilet for an extra five seats. It was allocated to Wigston throughout its stay with the company being used on Express work normally.
(3020) LJI5632 has had a chequered career starting out with Shamrock and Rambler in Bournemouth as A104HNC and later recieving the personalised plate XPA110. When this company ceased trading it moved with most of the fleet to London Country (South West) but was only there for a short while before moving on again with it's two sister vehicles 19,21 to Midland Fox arriving early in 1990 for use mainly on Leicesterline express services from Southgates with 19 (21 went to wigston for Foxhound duties). It was withdrawn in 1998 and reregistered A929KFP (XPA110 going to a Volvo Coach) and after a while went on loan to the Shires returning to Leicestershire a short while later and eventually re-entering service with yet another identity LJI5632. It is seen here in august 2000 based at Stamford.
(23) BPR103Y was one of a large batch of ex Shamrock & Rambler coaches aquired from London & Country in 1990 and was used initally by the Market Harborough coach unit.

(23) BPR103Y had by September 1997 gained a modified front and "Bus" livery (though it never did gain any destination gear) and is seen unusually on cross-city service 104 in Braunstone.

(25) A38SMA is seen here leaving St. Margaret's Bus St'n in Leicester in April 1994 before the introduction of low floor buses on the long 118 route to Swadlincote which was frequently worked by dual-purpose vehicles. This coach was one of four new to Crosville Wales.
(27) B151ALG was one of four Duple bodied Leyland Tigers aquired from Crosville Wales in 1993 to counter competition on local routes in Leicester though all eventually found their way to Coalville depot.
(28) BPR108Y seen here in the company of No.22 at Skeggy was another of the "Job-Lot" of ex Shamrock & Rambler coaches that came into the fleet in 1990.
(30) C69BFX was aquired with the buisness of V & M Hills, Nuneaton in 1991 and shortly afterwards moved to Wigston where it was a regular performer on the X61 to Northampton as well as other coach duties.
(30) C69BFX was one of two Leyland Royal Tigers aquired from V & M Hills and was originally fitted with a Toilet & Drinks Machine etc though these were removed on Transfer to Wigston but this did not seem to clip it's wings too much and it made at least one visit to France in "Seats only" Mode.
