(M324) L324AUT is one of 4 Mercedes minibuses bodied by local bodybuilder "Leicester Carriage Builders" that are quite rare (The only other large batch is used by Dublin Bus). There were originaly seven of these vehicles (six brought new and one ex Demonstrator) but three were sold to The Shires and have been based at Hemel Hempstead, Watford and Southend among others.
(1351) N351OBC is a 1995 example of the Mercedes-Benz 709D chassis and Alexander Sprint bodywork seen here returning to its Southgates Street base.
(1353) N353OBC is seen in Leicester about to depart on the Lengthy 747 route to Peterborough a route on which these bouncy little buses from this batch are regular performers.
