(4479) D81UTF came to Midland Fox with it's sister D80UTF from Reading in 1994 where they were used on commuter services down the M4 to London for which It had 66 coach seats and a turbocharged Gardner engine. It was initally based at Coalville before moving to Thurmaston for use on the 104. It was sold to a company in Liverpool when a batch of Volvo Olympians took over the 104 in 1998.

(4485) ACM705X was one of five ECW bodied Olympian's acquired by Midland Fox from Merseybus in 1993. Photographed here at Beumont Leys on a 'Tesco Free Bus' service in January 1997.



(4486) ACM706X Started life with Merseybus and came to Leicester in 1993 working initialy from Southgates but now (summer 2000) based out in the countryside at Stamford.



(4486) is seen nice and gleeming not long after it came to Leicester.



(4487) ACM707X Also came from Merseybus in 1993. Also seen in this picture is 4481 which came to Leicestershire from Colchester a year later in 1994 with sister bus 4480 both of which were based at Wigston until being ousted by Volvo single deckers in 2000. Also seen in this view is an ex Arriva London Volvo citybus in storage.



(4489) ACM711X is another one of five olympians aquired from Merseybus in 1993 (only one of which is now left).

(4490) MTU116Y came to Midland Fox from Crosville Wales in 1989 and following a brief stint with the Loughborough green bus unit spent the rest of its career at Wigston, it was also one of a pair of Olympians to gain an advertisment for the Shires Shopping Centre when it opened in the early 1990's.

(4493) MTU119Y was one of ten Olympians aquired from Crosville Wales in March 1989 to be used by a new anti-competition unit in Loughborough and as there was no time to repaint the vehicles the new fleet was called the "Green Buses" (no doubt if they had come from a company with a Purple livery they would have been called the Purple Bus's etc) and is seen here in St Margaret's Bus St'n in April 1989 shortly after purchase.



(4505) A505EJF was one of a dozen Leyland Olympains brought new in 1983 and is seen not long after the electronic destination gear with conventional blinds.



(4506) A506EJF became the first Olympian to be withdrawn from the fleet following a close encounter with a JCB at Queniborough when not even ten years old. But is seen here enjoying a day out at the seaside.



(4507) A507EJF Was one of the last vehicles to be repainted in Red & Yellow before the Purple "Urban Fox" livery was adopted (this bus was also fitted with Railway style "Foxtrotter" nameplates until the mid 90's).

(4522) G522WJF and its four sisters spent ten years in the fleet all of it allocated to Wigston and is seen here slightly off the beaten track in Skegness coach park.



(4523) G523WJF Was one of a batch of 5 Olympians which were allocated to Wigston Depot for all their careers before being sent to Liverpool in a swop for More Scania D/D's in 1999.



(4534) WDC217Y Came to Arriva Fox County from Arriva Durham County in 1999 and in it's very brief stay with the company was mainly used on School contracts, First in Leicester then at Stamford. It was sold on to Leons a south yorkshire company.
