(2530) PWE530R a Leyland Fleetline with Alexander AL body was the first of it's batch of thirty of which Midland Fox aquired twenty five of from South Yorkshire PTE in 1990 and is seen here in Leicester in June 1991.

(2539) SHE 539S is another of the very comfortable Leyland Fleetline's with Alexander AL bodywork acquired from South Yorkshire PTE. Seen here leaving St Margaret's Bus St'n in Leicester on a very sunny day in March 1995.

(2705) THM535M Came to Midland Fox in a batch of half a dozen from Western National in 1984 though originally started life in London. After spending many years at Southgates it was transferred to Wreake Valley in 1990 as shown here at their St Ives Road depot in February 1991 and was withdrawn a couple of years later.

(2709) THM552M came to Midland Fox when the buisness of Astill & Jordan was taken over in 1988. Although starting life in London it in came to Astill's via a Cardiff based company 1983 and was painted in Hylton & Astill livery which came about when Astill & Jordan and Hylton & Dawson joined forces on service work. The vehicle is however shown here at the parent company's depot in South Wigston in November 1989. It was withdrawn the following Year.

(2734) SMU 734N was an ex-London Transport 'DM' class Fleetline with Metro-Cammell bodywork that was part of a large batch aquired in 1984. Seen here in Leicester in May 1989.

(2941) THX541S shows that vehicles acquired by Midland Fox were often placed into service in their previous operator's livery and is showing off its London Buses livery when Photographed here in St Margaret's Bus St'n in June 1992.



(2942) THX642S was one of a large but shortlived batch of ex London Fleetlines aquired as a stopgap in 1992 after the original long serving DMS type vehicles finaly started to fall to pieces.

(2948) NOC448R was a Leyland Fleetline with MCW bodywork and was one of three that came from the well known operator Kinch of Loughborough. However it had been new to the West Midlands PTE. Seen here in Leicester in August 1990.

(2951) OUC 51R was another ex London Transport 'DM' class Fleetline seen here in Leicester in February 1990. The All-Over-Advert livery tends to disguise the fact that it actually still shows the Astill & Jordan fleetname the company from whom it was aquired in 1988.

(2973) THX473S was one of a number of batches of Fleetlines that had seen previous service in the capital and in this case carried Park Royal bodywork seen here leaving Leicester in April 1994.



(2994) OJD394R gained a fresh coat of Red paint on arrival from London in 1992 as was used together with a Red minibus as the Red Bus ! to combat competition from Deeward travel on the Countesthorpe to Leicester route.
