(421) N345CJA, a Volvo B6 with Alexander Dash bodywork seen in Ipswich in February 1998 whilst owned by Eastern Counties. This vehicle was already second hand, having come from Greater Manchester, but was to soon move on again, to First Leicester.

(431) L888JTC was one of a number of vehicles bought by Capital Citybus when the company was controlled by management from China. As such, it bears the 'lucky' numbers 888. Seen here in Romford in September 1996.

(432) L5GML a Volvo B6 with Northern Counties bodywork was aquired by Capital Citybus acquired from Flightparks at Horley, Surrey who had used it on Gatwick Airport services. The bus is photographed here at Ilford in March 1997 before moving on to First Leicester.

(721) N521REW is a Mercedes 811D with Marshall bodywork and was operated by Orpington Buses which is part of First Centrewest before it came to Leicester and is seen here in Orpington in July 1996.

(729) P489 CEG represents a later batch of Mercedes 811's as seen here at Bromley North Station in September 1997. As with all of this batch this vehicle began life working in Leicester in the same livery !
