Corwen Station Old and New

Corwen station circa 1960

Until the mid 1960's this was Corwen Town's busy station which was used by two different companys - the GWR and the LNWR/LMS . Some years after closure, part of the station was used as a cafe.(The Refresh?) later the station was taken over by Ifor Williams Trailers, thereby denying the Llangollen Railway any chance of using it as it's eventual terminus.The area in front of the station is now used as a carpark.
