Some of you will be saying "who?" Well, you'll have heard of the Backstreet Boys, I know you have. You know the Backstreet Boys - voice of angel (face of fish); buck toothed Latin lover; can't string a whole sentence together blonde one; gorgeous, slow speaking tall one, Kevin Richardson, and the tattooed balding (oops, sorry, receding) one. If you haven't heard of them, you'll know one of their recent hits - you know, either "I want it that way" or "Show me the meaning of being lonely". Yeah, you do and you can admit here that you loved one or other of those songs. It's OK. I understand.

AJ is the tattooed, balding (receding!) one with the raspy voice. I don't care. He sings and dances beautifully. I love AJ. I don't care.
I've only shared this with Greer and she thinks he's had a damn good thrashing with the ugly stick, but I don't care. I love AJ.

Even after seeing this picture I love AJ.

Of course, she could be right, but I don't care. I love AJ. My view is that I'm old enough not to care, so I don't (I'm not even that old!!).

Lowdown on AJ (Alexander James):

• Date of birth: 9 January 1978
• He sings like an angel, dances like a dream and has written what must be my favourite song ever (OK, that's a lie, but I do like it)
• His nickname is Bone (I don't know and don't want to know!)

  OK that's enough of that.

  AJ, we need to say this to you:

• You have serious hair issues. You are losing it and you will lose it even more quickly if don't stop messing with it. Stop messing with it.
  I mean, really, what is that on his head?

  It's OK to laugh. I did.

• You almost have more tattoos than skin.
• You don't need to wear your sunglasses indoors. Trust me. If you think people can't recognise you with them on, someone has been lying to you. Actually, they really look stupid.
• Can I have your babies? Greer thinks this is too much - she thinks I should only be asking for one baby! She thinks I'm sick.

I'll take that smirk as a yes, shall I?
