19C Sugar Loaf & Cutters, Folk Museum, Cambridge.

"My first sighting of an actual sugar loaf - 14 Jul 2001. This example stands about 25in / 62cm high, and has the appearance of hard-packed demerara sugar, with cracks in places. It is now wrapped in clear film to protect it from the ravages of today's environment." - BM.
