Frederick Korff was entered into the freedom admissions on 7 November, 1820. In a codicil to his father's will on 1 April, 1817 is stated: "Regarding my third son Frederick Korff he is bound apprentice to me as Broker therefor when his time is out I hope he will be taken into Partnership by Mr John Chapman and his brother George William Korff or should they wish to work together then to join with his brother or to sett up for himself alone and I hope by his exertions he will without doubt be able to earn his bread."

William Thomas Korff, son of William Conrad Korff, of Folly House, Blackwell [sic.], rope maker, free by patrimony, 7 October 1823.
William Thomas Korff went into partnership with an R. Hudson, the company known as "Hudson and Korff", rope makers of Blackwall. An article in the 12 February, 1826 edition of Bell's Life in London and Sporting Chronicle, lists the company as bankrupt. A further article in The Times, 9 May, 1827 lists the Company under "Dividends", simply stating "June 12, R. Hudson and W. T. Korff, Blackwall, rope-makers." A further article in The Times, 27 March, 1840 identifies the company as facing an audit in the Bankruptcy Court, Basingall Street at 1 pm on the same day. It is not known when the company was first set up, whether they traded out of their 1826 difficulties, and what was the outcome of the 1840 audit.

William Conrad Korff died, 15 November, 1824. Will PRO PROB 11/1700, 1825.
