By travelling an average of seven and a quarter hours a day, and starting early in the morning when the canal was at it's best, starting from Blue Lias mariana near Rugby we travelled a total of 77 miles, through 49 locks and moving for 36 and a half hours in our four and a half days.

Friday 19th October
Blue Lias Marina.

Saturday 20th October
Blue Lias Marina to B22 on the Grand Union South of Buckby

Sunday 21st October
Down the Grand Union, to Stoke Bruerne, then back to Blisworth.

Tuesday 23rd October
Blisworth to Weedon

Wednesday 24th October
Through Norton Junction and Watford staircase to Elkington, B 28 on the Leicester Summit, then back to Winwick, Bridge 22.

Thursday 25th October
Winwick, via Watford, and Braunston to Blue Lias.
