Sunday 21st October

7.45 Overslept so a later than planned start. Weather cold but fine.

9.00 Moored up as it was just starting to rain. Tidied up, lit the fire and had breakfast. As we ate our porridge nice and cosy we looked out on cold wet fishermen huddled under their umbrellas.

Passed by Motor Carna going North empty. We stayed moored in the dry to get lunch ready.

10.45 Moved on at last in full wet gear as it was still raining.

We were passed by motor Kangaroo also going North empty and on her own.

1.00 Moored at Blisworth North tunnel for a home cooked Roast Beef dinner.

3.00 Went on through Blisworth tunnel passing two other boats.

3.45 Moored to South of tunnel to walk down and visit the canal museum.

5.15 Back on board we winded and then went back through the tunnel intending to moor again at the North end for the night.

When we got there we were told by mobile that Angela's dad was very ill, so we moved on to Blisworth village to leave the boat locked up on the 14 day moorings.

6.30 Left the boat to return by taxi to Blue Lias to drive to Swansea.
