Sunday 11th August. Time - 8.5 hours Locks 11 Miles 14

6.15 a.m. Moved off on a beautiful sunlit morning, despite the time, a boat waiting as we left the first lock,, then a constant stream of boats, but no hold ups. Moored boats all the way from our nights moorings at B149 till after B 156. The Festival site impressive full of tents etc.

8.00 a.m. At Slat Mill Lock was the third boat in a queue to go down.

9.00 a.m. Moored just below Bourton Lock to tidy up and breakfast.

9.30 a.m. Moved on, breakfast of toast and jam on the move as a wasps nest near our moorings!!

10.30 a.m. Arrived Banbury Lock to be number 3 in the lock queue so moved sideways to water, then down to moor just before B166 as family explored Banbury.

12.15 p.m. Moved on. At Grants lock joined slow moving queue as number 4, was then number 3 at Kings Sutton, then 2, then 1!!

5.00 p.m. Moored just after B 193 above Somerton Deep Lock for the night and a Sunday roast dinner.
