10.15 A late lazy start after a full cooked breakfast.

12.15 Arrived at Braunston Water Point, water then moved up to moor near the entrance to the Marina. We all then walked up to the canal shop for gifts. They were open from 8.00 till 8.00 every day in the summer!!

2.00 We then went up to wind in the marina entrance and head back to turn south along the Northern Oxford. The whole area was very busy with lots of boats moving. We passed Braunston turn for the last time at 2.30.

A very quick passage down Calcutt three locks all set in our favour. Angela then steering in the rain so I could pack.

5.45 Moored at Blue Lias to unload packed boxes and dirty washing into the car and to collect the cases to pack tomorrow.

6.00 Winded and as we left a Black Mink was swimming around and went into Blue Lias Marina! Angela then steered so I could cook.

7.00 Moored up for the night just before Calcutt Locks between the two Marinas.
