8.15 A late slow start but fine weather. At Curdworth top lock passed the construction work for the Birmingham North Relief Road. Worked most of the flight in between two other boats so repeatedly lifted a paddle for the boat behind as I left the lock.

12.15 Moored at Fazley Junction for water, and to thoroughly clean the boat inside and out. Also shopped, finding a basic food shop just a 100 yards away, also a Chinese Take Away, chip shop and Post Office.

3.30 Moved off up the Coventry Canal towards Fradley Junction after dropping off our rubbish at the BWB HQ! The rain slowly got heavier, but a beautiful quiet stretch of canal.

6.15 Moored up just after Bridge 84 for the night. The fire ran well and the bath very effective argues well for winter cruising!!
