Details of Language courses at LS(Ba):

Enrolment

All courses language courses start on the first Monday of each month and the are run on a roll-on basis. As part of the enrolment process applicants will be interviewed and asked to complete a standard written test to determine their proficiency in the English language.

Examinations

The LSBA English language courses lead to qualifications by a number of accrediting bodies such as the University of Cambridge qualifications, which are internationally recognised and can help you to gain entry into further and higher education. Other qualifications include LOCF (London Open Colleges Federation) Pitman and FLIC (Foreign Languages for Industry and Commerce)

Examinations are however, always optional. All courses place equal emphasis on grammar and conversation and provide knowledge and information and valuable practice even if you do not take the exam.
