Important information for upgraders ...

When PCStage was originally sold over ten years ago we decided the fairest way to market the product was to give away our software and recover our development costs through the sale of interface units. That way, users could see exactly what they were getting before deciding whether or not to buy.

But over the years, the software has changed from being a just a lighting desk to a fully featured multimedia controller. So much so, some users were no longer using the lighting desk function at all. To encourage such users to contribute towards the costs of supporting and developing the product the software is now written such that

the multimedia capabilities will gracefully die an hour after starting the program.

Once the timeout triggers you can still save the work you have done so far, and restarting the program restarts the timeout.

So:

If you own PCStage USB interface then whilst the interface is connected to your computer, the timeout is disabled. If you would like a registration code so you can edit 'offline' please contact your distributor and a code will be issued free of charge.
If you own a PCStage Parallel Port Adaptor, you will need a code if you plan to use multimedia capabilities - again, please contact your distributor for free issue of a code.
