03-003Kinesis
- mighty new single, "And They Obey",
can only enhance awareness of this excellent rock band,
Their star of these Bolton wanderers continued to rise in 002
and the year was rounded off nicely with their fab show supporting Manic Street Preachers
at Brixton Academy (looking well at home on that size stage). I bumped into Conor
Kinesis the night before after MSP at Wembley and their enthusiasm continues to blaze
fiercely. Told me mates not to miss them at Brixton and the feedback has been thumbs up
all round. Bet they made quite a few new fans that night.
This year, Kinesis are busy writing songs
for their debut album but took a break to play London Astoria (Brats night supporting
A.F.I.) and tour "And They Obey"with Miss Black America
and Reuben (promoted by Drowned In Sound). It was amazing (also
report at Brights-v-Brits article)
If you've seen/heard them, you'll know the praise they've
been getting is well deserved. If you haven't, and love rock bands with a SHARP cutting
edge then feel free to get excited about Kinesis.
"And They Obey" will be released 10-03-003
(Independiente) backed by "Premonitions" and "The
Flowers Are Dead" (recorded live) and then it's back out gaining rock
formidability beyond their years...
