clubs or even their own gardens. So much for Tory

Rocklands Tourist Board update
Crazy. Promoting LaLaLand, the alternative dimension of BritainIreland. The music
world, alternative culture, unity, community, creativity and positivity that is the best
thing about 21st century life these days. Unusual Tourist Board...
03-003 - Amazing. The new year article proving LaLaLand
existed because (among much more) there were Jedi Knights on the census perhaps
wasnt so mad when cencus results were published to say it's the 4th biggest faith in the
UK! Then on the 15th February,
The Mique were out in force, marching for peace, trying to halt the insane spiral
of following the Armageddon Script. Talk about Apocalypse Right Now! Then Rocklands Star was invited to
the launch of Respect 003. The Lord Mayor's new building has a fab view
of Tower Bridge with Docklands in the background. An Amazing 21st century city walk from
London Bridge. Coo, what a treat. The icing on the cake was when Ken Livingstone announced
that this year's event would be held in Rocklands itself, at The
Peace Dome.
Rocklands Tourist Board is currently talking to two local venues about putting on
events from April onwards, including some to preview Respect Week. Watch
this space for further details.

| Feeder were among the many bands missing nominations at The Brits but,
believably, their career, which has risen steadily from day one, continues rising to the
point where ignoring them is not an option. "Just The Way I'm Feeling" was
a Top 10 single in January and "Comfort In Sound", which went
gold week of release is an album that has just taken on legs of it's own, and run for the
stars... Feeder have always worked hard internationally, and following
pleasing 60,000 adoring fans on their own massive sellout headline tour of LaLaLand, they
will play Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo before supporting Coldplay's European and UK tour of
megadomes throughout March and April. www.Feederweb.com

Fell in love with Accelorator at The Basement Club in January -
top blast! I was out with the Queen
Mom and we were both smitten with their rock! Jay
(vocals/guitar), Roy (drum)'n'(bass)
Dan are from the scene free dimension of Bright On, nowadays famous for a different,
tastier kind of rock than the traditional lolly. There's all kinds of music going on,
bands don't have peers, they have piers. lollypop:
Accelerator's songs are fresh like
ocean spray and forceful as an energetic storm. The Alcohol Fairy made me beg them to play
around the seaside in the summer (? I don't know). Next thing ya know, there we are at
Bright On digging another of their gigs. A debut single, "Lollypop
Rock", is due out... Get the full juice on Accelerater from http://www.headwreckerrecords.com (They
were also recently featured in the 6Radio "Invisible
Superstars" article). |
| New Labour. New Danger. they're gonna charge
musicians for a license to play live music in England and Wales, with a £20,000 fine
hanging like the sword of Damocles over those that don't cough up £500 as requested. This
means bands without a license won't be able to play in pubs, clubs or even their own
gardens. So much for Blair's Cool britania spoutings all those years ago. This is SICK.
