 It is unprecedented for a band to be so prolific AND scarily
talented. Mansun start 1999 having released over 40 extra songs on Ten
Top 40 Chart EPs Most would be classic A sides for other bands. Mansun's
extra songs aren't "b sides" they are "BESIDES"! Then
add TWO phenomenal LPs within 18 months and questions should be raised about why their
talents aren't being displayed to the general public by the radio etc... Mansun were the first band to be called 21st
Century Pop Stars (Melody Maker, 1996) in all fairness, they are ahead of their time - the
fact that music fans have a fascination with them is starting to get noticed just in time
for them to be among the 21st century's first pop stars...
