apr 2000 :  official convention on 2 july in liverpool (lomax) and highly recommended for mansun lovers. (six pm for six hours, £5 per ticket includes copy of official fanzine Cult Of Positivity - loads going on! new single/album this year and mansun play summer sonic 2000 festival in japan on august 5 (fujikyu) august 6 (osaka) and appear at v2000 festival in the uk (second stage just before supergrass headline).

Dec 99 Mansun's two UK-based official fanzines have decided to join forces to produce an entirely new fanzine called 'Cult of Positivity'.Take It Easy and Smelling the Roses squeezed into 32 professionally printed pages. Cult of Positivity #1 features (amongst other things): The Reading and Leeds festivals (plus the warm up tour): we were there,so now you can hear what we've got to say as we follow the band from Oxford to the Ross on Wye International Festival before heading off to the Reading festival. And as if that wasn't enough, one of us managed to hitch a lift up to Leeds on the band's tourbus. So many photos from Reading and Leeds that we had problems fitting them all in: we had two photographers there, so Cult of Positivity has more exclusive photos than you could possibly need. Interviews with both Andie and Stove: Stove tells us just how good he is with a, er, stove, and Andie confesses all about his farm. Fan meet-ups: there have been loads this year, and we've been to quite a few of them. Every single one has been a great day out, so we've dedicated a fair chunk of Cult of Positivity #1 to trying to persuade you to come along to the next one in your area.
