21c punx rule 003... Rocklands Tourist Board will
be open for anti-business from 01.01.003. Founder, Hattie Chewed,
is inspired by the positive effect rock and roll has on the culture of LaLaLand
and wants to promote and support that.
Stuff the establishment world's insanity, Hattie
insists that not only has "the devil's music" proved without doubt to
be, largely, the angel's music, but also that Pete Waterman & co. do
not have all the best tunes!
LaLaLand - an Ireland and
Britain united as per the music world, and music itself, are what the Rocklands
Tourist Board, a non-profit disorganisation is about.
Like the rest of The Friend (music
fans, bands, media etc on the 21c punx d.i.y. vibe), there's no money/backing etc - but
that's not stopping the network spreading like wildfire and being an increasing influence
on the music scene and won't stop LaLaLand dreams either...
Rocklands Tourist Board will
promote gigs, events, bands, LaLaLand culture and wage peace. There are already no end of
ideas, plus involvement and interest within and without the music industry.
The idea of promoting and supporting counter
culture is what a helpful Downing Street tourism advisor called "a
niche" but in reality it's one of our truest treasures.
Playing Class people! Unsubscribe from
established theories and exodus Planet Armag... erm, Earth for something completely
different like Planet Water.
Rocklands Tourist Board celebrates
a long and colourful history rich in creativity, music, song, dance, eccentricity,
charity and people power. Sport is tribal but music is communal.
Being a relatively peaceful part of the world
obsessed by popular music since the second half of the 20th century has enriched
these isles. Time for some good news in 003, the magic number. |
