| We will be camping in the grounds of Bishop Lovett School Ryde, which overlook the Solent and beyond. The School itself is one of our oldest Victorian buildings. We will be three minutes walk from the beach as well, so maybe a swim in the offing, bring your cossies. |
| Camping will be on the School playing fields, immediately behind the school and commanding dramatic views over the Solent to Portsmouth in the distance. |

| The School is well-known for the encouragement of young people in sporting activities. |
| That's it! The catamaran from Portsmouth comes in at the adjacent Ryde Pier and it's a short walk from the Esplanade to the Venue. Even closer is the Hovercraft terminal, coming from Southsea where there is good parking. The car ferry (bigger one in the pic) arrives at Fishbourne, some 5 miles west of Ryde. |
