Bob has had a life-long interest in Art and Design. At school he studied Art to A level standard, and then went on to Teacher Training College where he chose it as his main subject. After thirty-eight years of teaching and management and bringing up a family, in 2008 Bob retired, and prompted by a Christmas gift of watercolours and brushes from his wife, his passion for drawing and painting was rekindled.
