Club Championship 2006/2007

The 2006/07 Club Championship is now underway.

This year, the tournament takes the form of an "All-Play-All" competition, although competing players are classified into one of three categories, according to their rating. All players can compete for the Club Championship but only the results against Category I players count towards scoring.

Two further trophies are also available. The 'Minor Club Championship' (& Trophy) is restricted to Category III players and for this trophy all results are included. Category II and Category III players can also compete for 'The Grading Cup'. This trophy is designed to reward club players who may achieve results beyond their nornal standard. Therefore, for this trophy, only scores against Category I and Category II players are counted.
