K Books - Preface

We have been book dealers for almost 40 years having had shops but with a strong leaning to selling books by catalogue. This preference for mail order selling was strengthened because of the good, lasting relationships which we were able to build up with our clientele based on mutual trust and the shared love of books of all kinds, whether rare 16th Century items or popular modern novels.

Our venture, nay headlong plunge, into internet selling has happened quickly - and the only unfortunate aspect of our rush to embrace this new technology has been that the books are possibly not categorised as well as they should be - but gentle reader do not despair - there is a wide, wide selection at mouth-watering prices and we have many items to add on an almost daily basis. Persevere in the knowledge that you can buy from us with confidence and we are always happy to discuss your interests with you.
