January 2010   Moving in, planning the project
February 2010   Starting demolition
March 2010   Working in the garden, more demolition, starting the electrics and the insulation
April 2010   The builders get started, the roof goes on the yard and rooms start to appear
May 2010   Decorating, the log burner and solar PV installed, moving into the annex and starting work on the main house
  The solar thermal panels and the thermal store are installed, the new windows and doors arrive and the heating system is partly up and running
July 2010   Installing the new windows and doors, making the house habitable and getting the kitchen in, and being accepted for the Old Home/Superhome network with a carbon reduction of 91%
August 2010   Finally the old porch is demolished and the new garden room started, the front garden starts to come along and we make our first return for the Feed In Tariff
September 2010   The garden room is finished, work on the garden studio starts in earnest and the Recycled House opens for four days as part of Heritage Open Days
October 2010   Internal work on the garden studio, another open day for the 10:10 campaign, the final triple glazed window and the oak framed balcony
March 2011   A very belated progress update after a break over Christmas and the New Year
