For over ten years they have provided good quality wedding entertainment,
live music for entertainment for many different parts of the wedding day.

Acoustic Jass is a quartet (Trumpet, Clarinet, Banjo & Sousaphone),
they play well known traditional jazz, ballads and popular music of the early 20th century,
which can be the entertainment or just background music for any part of your wedding day.

This jazz band is truly acoustic and mobile, as the picture above shows.

This jazz band has the advantages:

they don't need a lot of space
they do not need electricity
they are mobile, easily move from one place to another
they pay attention to the clients requests on the volume level
they play music that appeals to most people
ideal wedding entertainment for all ages

Acoustic Jass tailor the choice of tunes according to the happy couples wishes. If you want background music during the wedding breakfast or champagne reception and then exciting foot tapping dancing music for the evening's party this jazz band can provide it. When the wedding entertainment is required for larger venues and static performances the band can use amplification.

Acoustic Jass has played music for weddings outside the church, in hotels, village halls, marquee's and stately homes.

They have played the processional music for Church, Civil and Humanist ceremonies.

Acoustic Jass has many tunes on their list, mainly from the 1900's, to 1940's, including well known tunes like All of Me, Creole Love Call, Avalon, Honeysuckle Rose, Bye Bye Blackbird. Most of these were recorded at some time by Louis Armstrong, but then he recorded the best tunes of the era, however Acoustic Jass is not a Louis Armstrong tribute band.

If you would like the band to play a special tune not currently in their repertoire they will learn it for you (provided it fits their style!) and, unusually for a jazz band they have some waltz's in their repertoire.

A typical wedding day could include the band playing gentle background music to entertain the guests on arrival at the wedding or wedding reception while the photos are being taken, then moving to the dance floor to play music for dancing at whatever tempo the guests want. Sometimes they've led the procession of wedding guests from the ceremony to the wedding reception.

As well as their nineteen twenties style striped blazers seen in most of the pictures Acoustic Jass now have evening dress tailcoats for the formal twenties theme.
