March 1993-present day:
Self-employed, working as a freelance graphic designer, (computer-based).  Types of projects
undertaken range from the design of training publications through to presentation graphics,
35mm slide/OHP design and interactive multimedia design.

A recent project was the design and development of a Windows ‘95 interactive CD-ROM for
an Essex-based electronics company.  This was developed using Director 5, containing animation,
video and soundtrack material.

Since I began freelancing in March 1993, I have worked for the following companies: Cleanaway Ltd
(part of the GKN group), New Holland Ltd (formerly Ford Tractors), Premier Administration,
The Jambea Group of Companies, Adelphi and Autoroute Circuits.

January 1988-July 1992:
Worked as a PA/Secretary/Administrator for a variety of companies in the City of London.  

During this period I gained experience working on Apple Macintosh and using software applications
such as PageMaker and Microsoft PowerPoint.  I also gained valuable experience of commerce and working
within a structured corporate environment.

From June 1991 to July 1992 I worked for Sedgwick Energy, part of the Sedgwick Insurance Broking Group.
I reported to the Marketing Director and was involved in the production of promotional material for the
company.

I left the company at the end of July 1992, eight weeks before my first son was born.

July 1984-December 1987:
Worked as a freelance Textile Designer, selling designs through agents in the US, Japan and Europe.
I also worked as a part-time lecturer in Fashion/Textiles at South East Essex College.
