Improved

Due to Win95/98 not usually able to display some box graphics (single+double line intersections) correctly, we no longer user them in e.g. Format 1. However, partitioned menus may still show the problem if using double-line frame, so best to custom frames to no or single-line.

Improved

12-Oct-98

New

System variable $RECL gives the length in bytes of the current data record.

10-Nov-98

Changed

DPL assignment of date variable to character variable now gives dd/mm/yyyy result instead of dd/mm/yy. Likewise, EDIT of date variable now uses dd/mm/yyyy format. This avoids possible problems in respect of year 2000. Please note that any existing DPL expressions which include date variables may now give different alignment due to the four-digit year.
