About Me

A Brief Rundown

I was born in Thornton Heath in Croydon, Surrey on the 2nd of March 1978. I was raised here, going to nearby Gonville Primary school.

I went to the Trinity School of John Whitgift to study for my GCSEs, in which I gained 6 As and 4 Bs (including one A*). I continued at Trinity to obtain my A-levels in which I received an A for Elctronics, B for Maths and C for Physics.

These grades were good enough to gain me a place at Birmingham Universiy where I studied Electronic Engineering and gained an Meng 2:1 degree.

I am now working for an electronics company based in Hampshire writing software that will eventually take over the world!!! Or something.

Family

Still living in Croydon are my Mum and Dad (I won't mention their names to spare me much embarrasment). Also living there are my sister Sharron and my Nephew Troy, who is almost 2 years old.

My Dad is from Jamaica and my mum is from Barbados, which means that I have many members of my family that I have never even talked to, let alone met - I must put this right one day...

Hobbies

Apart from writing software and writing web pages and stuff (Which I don't really count as hobbies) my main hobby is DJing. I bought some decks back in 1998 and started buying records, and really got into the whole DJing type thang.

I DJ mainy drum & bass, which I have been into since the Jungle days of arounf 1993/94. I'm not claiming to have been there since day one or anything, but still, I've been around a long time.... My favourite DJs / Producers are Peshay, Roni Size / Reprazant, Andy C and Marcus Intalex / ST Files to mention just a few.

While at uni, I had a stint at the university radio station, called BURN FM. This was really cool, and I made loadsa friends with good people who weren't just into the usual student cheesy shite!
