Press Release: CHARITY “STOCKING UP” FOR CHRISTMAS 2008!
Stock wanted for our charity shops NOW! - PLEASE HELP!
George Thomas Hospice Care shops are stocking their shelves in readiness for Christmas. The Hospice Shops need stock for their six shops throughout Cardiff and The Vale, especially ladies’ and men’s wear, children’s clothes, quality bric a brac, linen, unwanted Christmas presents from last year, jewellery, books and toys. The six shops are based in Clifton Street (Roath), Crwys Road, Merthyr Road (Whitchurch), Station Road (Llanishen), Holton Road (Barry) and Stanwell Road (Penarth). Sharon Owen Fundraising Officer said: “This is an extremely busy time for us as people are having an Autumn clear-out.
We will be pleased to accept all unwanted items which can be taken along to your nearest shop. We are sorry but we cannot take electrical items or large pieces of furniture”.
