THE COLOURS OF PROVENCE (June 2003)
… the fields of lavender… the green of the vines… the red of poppies… and the glorious gold of sunflowers… in the markets, colourful spice stalls… and even more colourful vegetables… rocks composed of ochre… and villages which take on the colour of the rocks… in the marshes of the Camargue, the pink of flamingos… with white Camargue horses… and black Camargue bulls. This show includes three cities, Arles, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon, and a variety of country scenes – the Camargue wetlands, the ‘Grand Canyon of France’ and villages in the Luberon and Vaucluse; with aspects of wildlife, folklore and history.
Giraffe, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe; taverna cat, Skopelos, Greece; Camargue horse with cattle egrets, Provence, France.
GREEK ENCHANTMENT - a Portrait of the Island of Skopelos (2000)
The traveller entering the harbour of Skopelos is confronted with an attractive town which climbs the hills behind the waterfront. Everywhere there are white walls, blue shutters and roofs of red and grey tiles, with photogenic scenes around every corner. Touring the rest of the island, there are little coves and fishing villages, olive groves, plum orchards and groups of colourful beehives. The neighbouring islands of Alonissos and Kyra Panagia can be visited on the Oceanis, a converted cargo schooner.

ZIMBABWE SPECTACULAR (1996)
Wildlife photographed on this (pre-troubles) safari holiday included Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Warthogs, Eland, Kudu, Impala, Buffalo, Waterbuck and many colourful birds, from Crimson-Breasted Shrikes to Saddle-billed Storks. This presentation includes several other aspects of Zimbabwe: tropical gardens; the semi-submerged petrified forests of Lake Kariba; homes, shops and school in a tribal village - and, of course, the world-famous Victoria Falls. My finale is an ‘African Spectacular’ of tribal dancing.

THE TREASURES OF TUSCANY (June 2005)
Tuscany has many ‘treasures’ - both the art and architecture of cities like Florence, Siena, Volterra and Lucca, and the more rural treasures of its delightful countryside. We divided our fortnight between city visits and a stay in an old farmhouse not for from the ‘medieval Manhattan’ of San Gimignano. Audiences who have seen my other ‘holiday travelogues’ will not be disappointed by this one. However, it will probably prove to be my last show using colour slides, rather than a digital (‘Powerpoint’) presentation.
