My digital presentations are seen by many societies, mainly in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. Topics include the history and natural history of Hampshire, wild flowers, foreign travels and stone circles. I lived on the Isle of Lewis  from 1974-84 and was deeply involved in studies of the Callanish Stones.

As a photographer, I am a keen member of the local camera club and have included some of my favourite images on this site.
As a writer, I specialise in local history, archaeological sites and guide-books. I have been involved in self-publishing since 1977. Currently, I operate two separate imprints. Charlewood Press, co-owned with Anthony Light, publishes works of local history, mainly concerning the town of Fordingbridge and the nearby village of Breamore.

Under the imprint of Millers Dale Publications, I have published an illustrated volume of reminiscences, Scenes from a Hampshire Childhood; Shakespeare’s Fantastic Garlands; and several local history books.

I have also written a Visitors Guide to the New Forest  and Callanish and other Megalithic Sites of the Outer Hebrides for other publishers.
