Paragliding/Paramotoring

In flight, Christmas day, Macher, Lanzarote 30kb Howdy doody....My Name is Gary Jackson and this homepage serves several purposes,

  1. It will hopefully give the uninitiated an insight to flying an aircraft that will fit into a rucksack
  2. Gives some detailed information for current pilots who may wish to fly abroad
  3. Provide useful information to those pilots wishing to try paramotoring
  4. Last but not least, to hopefully prevent injury.

I have attempted to describe my experiences, to date, as a pilot of a paraglider and in some instances I have mentioned by name the instructor/school who have had an influence on my flying skills. I feel that I must credit the people who put up with my constant barrage of technical questions and insults to their judgement when they clearly knew better. Links in this homepage to commercial organisations have crept in, as I'm too much of a nice guy to say no to those who ask for a link.

I'm an Advanced Pilot with Dual rating for winching/towing but a lapsed rating for Dual off a hill. In addition to the non-powered flight I also fly a Paramotor (rarely these days) and have the appropriate PPG rating. I do not have any commercial interest in flying. I am not an instructor but I'm a Senior Tow Coach
