Boy Wonder Wonder Wear
This is a great collection of little nice pop songs, somewhere between 60's influenced pop & power pop. Paula Kelley has an amazing teen voice, & does back up (some times lead). Singer Jake Zavracky. Stand out tracks: Ladder, I've got you here tonite, Life isn't fair, Liar baby. Check out Paula's forthcoming solo album Too Bad. The new band by Jake, Quick Fix, is rocking, but lost all his melodic touch.

Senza Benza Vol 4
In which the best pop punk Italian band ever (their 3rd CD was mixed by Joey Ramone - no need to say more ), turns into a 60's beat band Rickenbacker guitars keyboards suits this time with Italian lyrics. Old fans were maybe disappointed by this change, but the CD is full of hooks, great harmonic vocals (between lead singer Nando & back up singer Sebi) Ringing guitars & 60's influenced pop taste that can't be bad. Stand out tunes: Baby, La Lunga Estate Calda, Finirà Sebi vocals are gorgeous). Try to contact Sebi for a copy ( dunno if he has any ), or just ask me. He's Sebi1969 in the AG Powerpop!! List.

Adam Daniel Blue Pop .
Adam Daniel writes super catchy pop tunes, such as the great "Breaking Up", "Guess I Got A Girl" "Her Shake" Some rock, some are ballads, all are gorgeous melodies with good lyrics & amazing musical parts. Fans of Fountains Of Wayne, Weezer at their most melodic, & power pop in general must have this album. Ivan5000 is absolutely right this one should be coming out from every radio

Copperpot Nothing Lasts Forever
Damn, it features Candy, I think one of the best Power pop songs ever. Jarrett Randazzo is a talented young artist from New Jersey, & being a friend of mine, I can tell he's a great guy who deserves the success he's looking for. This CD is a collection of perfectly crafted pop songs, so full of hooks it's scary even if Jarrett says tunes like Candy ( written when he was 16 ) sound immature. I must say I couldn't believe it when I heard the man behind these songs was just 19. As they say on the band site ( now a full band, at the time of this CD release basically a solo project ) spread the Copperpot love

The Mr T Experience Revenge Is Sweet And So Are You
My favourite MTX album is as catchy as hell, pop punk at its best Dr Frank can't be wrong, this man writes about love like no one else, & as their official motto says, these are "songs about girls" Being a pop punk band, you'd expect silly love lyrics instead Dr Frank's approach is really smart & intelligent. The guitars are less distorted than on previous releases (now even less in fact they get poppier as years go by), but the tunes remain great, full of babababa lalalalala back ups & Kim Shattuck appears on track Love Is Dead

The Mayflies Usa The Pity List
The Mayflies write great pop / powerpop songs, full of jangle guitars, harmonies & they feature an amazing voice on this CD. It's full of beautiful ballads (& it's what they do best) Stand Outs: Great Big World Thinking Out Loud, I Wanna Be Your Gun, I Was The One (this one has a personal & important meaning for me, but it's gorgeous in itself). Their 1st CD, Summertown is fantastic too.
