THE BEATLES: I adore every single album, I think I chose this one cause it features on of my favourite tunes: And Your Bird Can Sing -power pop before power pop was even born?

THE MUFFS: as James Broad from Silver Sun once said.."every muffs' song should b someone's favourite "...it's the first one I got, & damn, it features "what you've done "...kim can sing everything & turn it into gold.

SILVER SUN: My favourite band...the kings of high pitched harmonies...perfect tunes...melody a go-go!!!!! what more do u need ?

COOPER: I think this one is a must-have...Fertonic3 turned me into this one....he can't be wrong, & the songs are so good..it would be as good sung in every language. Check " diciembre "...a beautiful voice, heartfelt lyrics, ringing guitars ...cool asthetic too.

CHERRY TWISTER: It's not a long time I turned into pure power pop, but to me , this is the way a power pop album should sound. Steve Ward is a home- made genius.

FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE: I love their Americana tales - those little end of the summer lovely tunes - the voice is amazing, as are the back ups. It features a lot of classic pop tunes.

Other suggestions that could have been on my list include: Weezer "Green Album ", Mr T Experience " Revenge is Sweet & So Are You " and oh.I forgot - Redd Kross "Show World " - that album is a gem too. They stayed away from fuzzed up guitars & penned a classic Power Pop jewel...with lennonesque vocals like never before.
