October 2003 - An updated About Us

After a gap of something like 18 months here we are again. This site originally began in the autumn/fall of 2001 as a side project for members of a group called Powerpop!! on the Audio Galaxy MP3 music download service.

We were/are a group of likeminded fans who in addition to discussing our favourites and recommendations with each other, extended this passion for the benefit of anyone else who might care to listen via this web site.

Although contributions died off at the same time as the old Audio Galaxy site itself voluntarily changed out of all recognition, both of us have been through changes and are still around in one form or another today.
June 2002 - September 2003:- A big gap where virtually nothing happend here at all, where my life suddenly got very complicated and busy!

News From September/October 2001
A major new section called MP3 Advice was posted today. A lot of work has gone into this collection of 8 or 9 articles. Written by DPAMac & Mr Qwerty, its aim to improve the quality of the MP3s we share on the group - now there's no excuse!
In response to demand, MP3 Advice now features a section on how to make MP3's by Sourcing from Vinyl or Tape - any questions on this or the other articles are welcome.
Response to the new question "6 Favourite Records from a year of your choice" has finally has had a response, thanks to Lino. His list to appear shortly. Now where's the rest of you?
The group now has 39 members, and has grown to over twice the size it was 3 months ago. This is great, a big welcome to all new members.
The alternative navigation panel has been dropped as there have been no complaints about the new one. Let me know, if you know different.

Something very relevant will occupy this sapce when I've thought of it!
