Redd Kross "Phaseshifter" is a splendid collection
of catchy power pop gems with fantastic vocal harmonies, I love that band.
The Chesterfield Kings 3rd album is probably the LP I've most consumed
on my stereo over the years, is an explosive mix of early Stones /
Kinks / Byrds influences, this piece of vinyl is precious in my life.
The Muffs are the Shangri-Las /
Shirelles of the 90s, great band!
the Barracudas and the Hoodoo Gurus beside Long Ryders,
Go Go's and many others were the idols of my adolescence.
Jonathan Richman was simply an absolute pop genius but the
record industry don't seem to understand that. It's the same old story!!!!
Michele actually chose Kenny & the Kasuals - Nothing Better To
Do as his number one choice, but we couldn't find the sleeve. We did
find a picture of the band, so here it is:
And now we've found the album too, well sort of,
a "twofer" which features both Nothing Better To Do
and Things Gettin' Better.
